How it works
The CID-BOX uses a driver system — like a computer's device drivers. Each hardware brand gets its own driver that translates platform commands into brand-specific protocols. The features (reboot, enrol, open door, read badge…) are built once in the platform GUI. When a new brand is supported, only the driver needs to be developed — everything works immediately.
Why it matters
This is what makes CID genuinely hardware-agnostic. You're never locked into one manufacturer. Switching or mixing brands doesn't require rebuilding features — the right driver loads automatically.
